In a Mad Rush for High-end Corporate Stationery Design? Don’t Leave These Basics Behind

Every business has its own identity. That identity is displayed everywhere – in the market, the billboards, the brochures, the advertisements, and of course, in its stationery. These are the things where consumers can see the graphical identity of all businesses.

Stationery DesignIn this post, I will discuss how you can create more compelling corporate stationery design that will do more than just reflect the identity of your business. It would tap into the psyche of your customers, both potential as well as existing. So let us begin.

Uniqueness is the Key

You do not copy or imitate other people’s work right? So why steal designing ideas? Brainstorm and come up with fresh and unique ideas. Look around you, take inspiration from nature and make the design more interactive. For instance, you could include a maze or a ‘building blocks’ sort of structure, if it goes with your products/services of course.

Make A Tasteful Selection of the Fonts and Colors

Always choose the shades and typefaces that is in sync with the products and/or services you provide. The text that you use, should be legible and best express your business message. Too bright colors and too fancy fonts can do more harm than good.

Include Images

The image could be anything from the mascot (if any) of your company to a little cartoon describing one of your products. Please make sure that the image is in high resolution and looks pretty, regardless of the size in which you use it. Do not try to introduce any new image here. Put the image that people know your company by.

Nothing Should Look Out of Place

Whatever text or image you use in your corporate stationery, make sure it is relevant to your company’s operations, niche and target audience. Bear in mind that if it is relevant, it would be remembered.

Keep It Simple

No matter how complicated your business is, if you can create a simple design, it would appeal to everyone. Use various colors and whatever else is necessary to make it more attractive. Consult a professional graphic designer and seek ideas from them. There are really endless options to what you can do.

Keeping these points in mind will help you think out of the box.

Corporate stationery items are really great for brand promotion. Some large companies use this strategy intelligently to create a separate place in the target audience’s mind. Distributing small items like a pen or keychain with brand logo in business events help people remember the company everyday. Corporate stationery items also keep the employees loyal. For instance, just after one week from the date of joining, my new company presented me a t-shirt and coffee mug with my name on those items! he, he! :-)
